Devon Kelly

Devon brings over 15 years of experience of Family Law, Estate Planning, Real Estate, Municipal, Corporate, and Non-Profit Law to Westfall Law. He prides himself on finding the root of conflict and creating the most efficient path to its resolution.

Background & Experience

A native Western New Yorker, Devon’s experience with law started at an early age – his father was a long-time attorney in Wyoming County. For his undergraduate degree, Devon studied History and French at the University at Albany. Inspired to give back to his community, Devon decided to go to law school and received his JD from Michigan State University College of Law.

Devon began his legal career as a partner in his family practice, a general practice law firm that serviced clients for over 60 years. It’s there that he learned the importance of being practical and efficient in the use of the law for his clients. He also learned a great deal from servicing agricultural clients, including real estate, trust and estates, and zoning law.

Devon joined Westfall Law with years of experience in Family Law, Real Estate, Municipal, and Non-Profit Law. Devon is admitted to practice in New York State.

Interests

Outside of work, Devon is active in his local arts community. He volunteers as the curator for the Arts Council for Wyoming County’s Classic Film Series. He also is a volunteer docent for the New York State Puppet Festival and usher for the Shake on the Lake summer tour – he may have handed you a program during a tour stop. He is also found outdoors hiking either working towards his ADK 46’er patch or taking a hike in Letchworth or Green Lakes State Parks with his trusty Dachshund, Lucy.
