Andrew Doody

Andrew brings a fresh and dynamic perspective to the firm. Andrew is a recent Law School graduate, currently preparing to take New York Bar Exam in February, 2024. Andrew currently provides comprehensive support to the attorneys, ranging from conducting research and drafting documents to facilitating client communications and participating in strategy discussions. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure that the firm’s clients receive top-notch legal assistance.

Background

Although a native of the Finger Lakes region in New York, Andrew received his Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. Andrew passed the California Bar Exam, is currently pending admission to the California Bar, and is hoping to soon receive admittance to practice in both New York and the Virgin Islands.

Prior to joining Westfall in August 2023, Andrew worked as a law clerk at a prominent Los Angeles based law firm specializing in general liability and products liability defense. While in law school, Andrew worked at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office where he assisted several attorneys with the assembly and organization of evidence in preparation for trial. Andrew also worked as a clerk for a firm focused on intellectual property where he assisted in all stages of trademark and copyright litigation, and helped coordinate with small-business owners seeking trademark/copyright registration.

During his studies at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California, Andrew was involved in several extracurriculars. He served for two years as a production editor for Loyola’s Entertainment Law Review, and served as a justice on Loyola’s Scott Moot Court Honors Board.

In his personal life, Andrew likes to stay active with his dog Jed, often going running, hiking, mountain biking and rock climbing near his home in Canandaigua. He also enjoys playing his guitar, reading a good book, and cheering for his favorite NFL team, the New York Giants.
